Brother ADS scanner network setup

1.       Uninstall Scanner USB driver.

2.       Go to the Brother website.

3.       Click on Support tab.

4.       Enter ADS-3000N into the “I know my device model” box.

5.       Select OS. Windows and Windows 10 (64-Bit). Click OK

6.       Download the Full Driver & software Package (need to scroll down and agree to EULA).

7.       Run installer.

8.       Select Language and agree to license agreement.

9.       Open the top cover of the scanner and then hold the number 1 and 3 buttons until the scanner beeps.

10.   Click Next until you get to the device selection page.

11.   Select the scanner. Next.

12.   Standard install.

13.   Proceed with install. Close top cover on scanner.

14.   Install any additional software needed or skip.

15.   Decline software update info.

16.   Open Brother Utilities. Right click on taskbar icon > Other settings > Check for software updates > Check now.

17.   Run any updates for the scanner.

18.   Open Brother iPrint & scan.

19.   Agree to EULA.

20.   Click on “Select your machine”

21.   Select ADS-3000N scanner.

22.   Open Brother utilities > Scan > ControlCentre4 Link

23.   Tick start ControlCentre4 on startup, untick open on startup and send information.

24.   Select advanced Mode.

25.   Perform a test scan in iPrint & scan.
