Firefox SSL fallback

Solution

Many network devices with management GUIs served by embedded web servers, use self signed certificates and older SSL 1, 1.5 an 2.0 encryption.  Firefox may refuse to work with these older protocols unless the target devices are identified explicitly.

To allow Firefox to fall back from TLS.

1. Enter about:config in the address bas and accept the warning about dragons.

2. Type security in the search filter bar

3. Locate the string valuesecurity.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts

4. Enter the IP address of target devices.  Do not use host names.
Multiple addresses are separated by a comma
E.g. 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4
