Windows 10 Remove One Drive

Solution

To remove One Drive from file explorer edit the registry as follows

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}]
@="OneDrive"
"System.IsPinnedToNameSpaceTree"=dword:00000000

UPDATE:  03/2016 A recent update has stopped this working.  It appears Microsoft are determined to buldoze our data onto the Cloud.
