OneDrive share with external guests using group

In OneDrive grant direct access to the group

OneDrive fails to automatically notify external guests by e-mail

Create a link for 'People with existing access'

 

1. Click the Share selected item icon

  The resulting dialog is a little confusing as it allows creating both a Send link and a Copy link

 

2. In the Send link group

Change link access context from

  People in organisation with the link can edit

to

  People with existing access

click Apply

 

3.Select the group name (ext-group-capabilities)

4. Add a message and click send.

An Outlook on the web window opens with a new message containing the link
