Exchange 2003 ESM crashes accessing help

Solution

Fault:

When attempting to access the Help from the SMTP Virtual server IP address configuration the following error is encountered

The Microsoft Exchange Intelligent Message Filter has encountered a problem and needs to close

Closeing the dialogue causes Exchange System Manager to close.

Cause:

The psapi.dll provided with Exchange is clashing with a newer version provided with IE7 or later.

Resolution:

In the Exchsrvr\Bin fodler, rename psadpi.dll to psapi.dll.old

Restart ESM
