HP Envy 5540 will not print in colour

Known issue with HP's native WPS driver for Windows 10.

Ports connected to IP addresses are definitely affected and other port combinations may be affected.

The native HP Envy 5540 WPS driver fails to provide the Colour printing option in Printer Properties / Advanced options.  The Advance tab is missing from the dialog and drop downs.

Resolution

Set the port to use the Microsoft Windows IPP (Internet print protocol) driver.

Device / Printers / printer / Properties / Advanced / Port settings

Printer will now use colour.
